Jacob Catsstraat
A special quarter of courtyard housing is located in the centre of the 'Schilderswijk'. The houses were built at the end of the 19th centrury for poor jewish familiies.
The complex of houses is listed on the cultural heritage list as a monument because of the beauty and the architecturaral and social historical value. This 'little town within a town' is unique in The Netherlands.
